Working in the corporate sector can be challenging. It is not just about meeting performance demands, but also about navigating the interpersonal challenges that come with the workplace.
Think of:
-
Hierarchies
-
Conflicting views
-
Power plays
-
A sense of powerlessness
-
Having choices, yet sometimes not enough of them
When all of this combines with personal life, it can take a great deal of strength to keep going with the Monday to Friday routine.
How Can Psychotherapy Help?
From my own previous career in the financial services sector, I understand the stress, anxiety, and powerlessness that can sometimes accompany a demanding job.
Whilst psychotherapy cannot change the people around you, it can:
-
Help you understand, at a deeper level, the interpersonal dynamics at play
-
Show you how you may get caught in them
-
Support you in building resilience and wisdom
-
Enable you to continue performing in your role—without feeling there’s no way out
My Approach to Therapy

The psychotherapy I offer is relational. This means the therapeutic relationship we develop over time becomes, amongst other things, a medium for change and repair.
I also work from a psychodynamic perspective. The past shapes the present, but it does not always have to be remembered in order to understand how it repeats itself in today’s life.
The work I facilitate in therapy helps you:
-
Observe how historically difficult relational patterns may repeat in the present
-
Explore the choices you have in responding to life’s challenges differently
