I offer online group clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and trainee therapists, including existing groups or cohorts who are looking for an external clinical supervisor.
I welcome enquiries from therapists undertaking Level 6 (undergraduate) and Level 7 (masters) counselling or psychotherapy training, including those on UKCP-accredited or UKCP-aligned training courses, as well as from qualified practitioners who would like to form a supervision group together.
Groups may consist of therapists who are training together, colleagues working within the same organisation, or practitioners who have formed their own peer group and are looking for a regular space for clinical supervision.
My approach to supervision is relational psychodynamic. I pay particular attention to the therapeutic relationship, unconscious and interpersonal processes, countertransference, use of self, clinical complexity, the social unconscious, risk and ethical practice. I am also able to work with supervisees from integrative and relational trainings where there is sufficient compatibility between our ways of thinking about clinical work.
Group supervision is offered weekly or fortnightly, depending on the needs of the group, the number of members and their clinical workload.
I am a UKCP Recognised Supervisor (RS). Trainees who intend to use supervision towards their clinical training or professional registration should nevertheless check the specific requirements of their training organisation and ensure that their chosen supervisor meets those requirements.
