About Me
Hello! I am Sumeet Grover, and I am a Transpersonal Psychotherapist with experience of working in the third sector (FreshStart Psychotherapy) and in private practice. I am passionate about this work because I believe that long-term psychotherapy can help people to give full expression to their authentic self. Amongst other things, I offer psychotherapy informed by the Attachment and Trauma approaches. I abide by the ethical code of the BACP and UKCP.Prior to beginning my training as a psychotherapist, I have had a wide exposure in life: I have studied a master’s degree in engineering, worked in the corporate sector, authored three books of poetry, written poetry book reviews, been a member of a few international arts and conflict transformation NGOs, and read Buddhist philosophy for fifteen years.I still maintain a passionate interest in the arts. I am often curious to explore how poetry, independent cinema, music and the arts can be used in the psychotherapeutic process of healing, growth and integration.Psychotherapy Training and Qualifications
